​To thank Jesmond library again for letting us use their facilities during the summer holidays, we held another fundraiser.  Ten young people, 7 boys and 3 girls, aged between 9 and 18, performed Christmas songs, first of all in Starbucks Jesmond, then at Jesmond library.  It was a freezing, winter’s day, so Starbucks let us perform inside.  About 30 customers generously donated into our bucket and Starbucks gave every performer a free hot chocolate and packet of wafers.  Everyone then walked up to the library to perform again, this time to about 20 local residents.  Waitrose kindly donated mulled wine and mince pies for the audience.  We raised nearly £40
