Jesmond's Got Talent

Our first event during the Jesmond festival this year, held in Jesmond library.  We had 7 young performers, 4 boys and 3 girls, playing guitar, keyboard and singing and ranging in age from 8 to 14.  The standard was very high and was judged by two young musicians who are normally performing for us, Marcus and Nathan.  Following their performances, the young people moved to Starbucks where they performed again before being rewarded with drinks and muffins, generously donated by Starbucks.  The competition was won by Daisy, closely followed by Tanvi and then by Lucas and Tim.  Approximately 25 customers and staff in the library also enjoyed the event.
